Consumers Embrace Choice in the World of Soft Drinks by Rating, Reviewing, Sharing and Trading Drinks at the New Social Site for Soft Drinks, DizzyFrinks.com
Berlin (PRWEB) June 28, 2011
Currently, the highest rated drinks on Dizzy Frinks, from soft drink fans from all over the world, are Fentimans Curiosity Cola, Hot Lips Pear Soda and Cheerwine. However, users of the site can do much more than just rate drinks. They also have the ability to review, add photos and videos, submit drinks of their own, become “friends” with other members of the site, and trade drinks worldwide.
The trade drinks function is new concept. Users who discover a new drink whilst travelling, or remember one from their childhood but cant source them for the local area can request drinks to trade with other users. They select the drinks that they are interested in, and then which drinks they can offer to share, and the site then searches the database for possible matches.
Dizzy Frinks has shown that consumers love to discover and share new and interesting flavours, drink concepts and brands from around the world. Currently performing well in Germany is the organic drink range, with companies looking to replicate the success of Bionade in coming up with the next “healthy” drink.
Users of the site can also browse drinks alphabetically, by the country that they are from and by the fizzy drink time line. Here drinks are listed from the first known soft drink (1845) right through to drinks released this year (2011) and even perceived futuristic drinks (2045).
Dizzy Frinks also makes use of Social Media. Every drink has a link to Facebook where visitors to the site can see how many “likes” a drink has, and can add their “like” if desired.
History of DizzyFrinks.com:
DizzyFrinks.com was founded in late 2010 by Peter Anderson. The idea for the site came about when Anderson moved to Germany in 2006 and discovered a whole host of new and interesting fizzy drinks. Then, having travelled the world in 2009 and sampled even more new flavours, concepts and brands, Anderson decided it was time to share them with the world. But he didn’t want it to be a one way conversation, hence the social side of Dizzy Frinks where users can rate, review, add photos videos and trade drinks all on Dizzy Frinks.
